Journal- Day 5ish?

FINALY!!!! i have finished my animation, well i think i might just add in a few more layers today and then i will be able to upload them all onto gimp and start to finish my assignment. I am quite surprised at the way my animation turned out, i really didn't think it would turn out this well. I am so happy that i am almost done. I did all the animating at home and am hoping to finish it today in this lesson. YAY! i did it! i finished my animation and i am just about to save it and then! it will really be done. I'm so happy! i think i am going to upload it to this blog. am i supposed to? oh well, i guess i will.
its not exactly wrking here on blogspot so its on a site instead. hope that's ok?

Journal- Day 4

Today I tried to move my image and make some of what I was saying happen. if you get that? I am trying to make my animation the way i set it out to be or even better. I am kind of having trouble making my animation move, I think i've almost got it! hopefully? and yes i did. i got it ang im on a role, everything is turning out so great :)
now. the creation process in which i made my animation is, first i found the image i used for the blueM&M. then i traced it on inkscape, i started moving his parts and making new layers each time. i grouped some of his features and others i left on their own. after making the layers of just the m&m i got letters spelling mercedes and traced them too so they would be able to move. i then, slowly started to spell my house colour, each layer by layer. it is quite long as i took my time in animating the letters and moving them all into place. when i was finished that i decided to spin each letter too. in the end i made about 178 layers of my animation. when that was done i uploaded my images to gimp as layers then saved it as an animated gif. i am going to save it onto my next blog.
during the development of the frames i saved them as a png image. the final size of my animation is 10.0MB. i know. that's not good. i think i did something wrong? naww. :(
some difficulties i encountered was getting started on my animation, i diddn't really know how to move my animation, then i gt it and when i did i was on my way to finishing. another difficulty was that my animation is larer than its supposed to be.

Journal- Day 3

OK. Today I officially started my animation, I started by tracing my blue M&M, that was a bit difficult but i think i did a pretty good job. I then started to animate the M&M. I made the arms, legs, eyebrows, eyes , mouth and the letter M separately so that i can move thoes objects. i have a really good feeling that my animation will trun out well. (Y) i have also coloured my blues M&M and it looks great!

Jorunal- Day 2

YAY!! finally i've got such good ideas. Although now i have changed my idea from the crest to the Blue M&M! it is way more awsome and also I have thought of some creative ideas inwhich to make this banner. Now I am going to get a nice picture of the Blue M&M. Then I am going to try and get it onto to inkscape. That might be a bit hard as I am trying and its not working! After i get it on I am going to start decorating and making layers so this animation looks good. I will make it creative, here is one of my ideas for my banner. I will have the blue M&M sitting along the top of the banner, then it will start spelling MERCEDES. Clever isn't it? Once again I just hope it turns out the way I plan it to.

Journal-day 1.

Today I am going to try and start my assignment. I am still thinking whether to do the house mascot or crest for Mercedes house. Although I still have to check and see what the mascot of Mercedes is. If I am doing the mascot then I will use the Blues M n' M, they are pretty cool!

If I use the crest I am thinking of changing the hands and making them move around to make them go into the position they're in instead of just having them appear that way. This may be a bit hard but if i do it properly then it will look awsome!

The software I'm going to use for this task is Inkscape. This is because I find it easier to use and that will help in making this animation. One of the difficulties i encountered was trying to think of ideas to use in this assignment Another problem was getting some of the images to move. I have decided to make my animation on the crest of Mercedes. I already have some ideas to go with the banner. Some of which will look great if I do it right!

hey ya. uh well these here are some pretty good looking rings aren't they. well i have the pleasure of saying i did it. hehe. see. paint isn't that hard!

GIMPP! such a weird word!

Today's work will hopefully be to to finish 0.5! Let's get to work. ok for my animation im thinking of making my animation on a face. your face! hehe no, okay maybe not your face...exactly. but i'm going to make a face showing different facial expressions. i will make another animation showing the a bird flying......with a twist. hope you like it. =D

The steps in which i made the first animation is that i started drawing the face and then i made another layer, everytime i made a new layer i changed some detail and repeated what i did in making new layers and then changing my image to make it flow.

go wild on 3D- effects!

Here we have a few different shapes. Three to be exact! Each shape has a different 3D effect!

The effect I have used for the lighning strike I used the shadow effect! Each strike shows the shadow differently.

The effect I haved used for the circle is 3D. Each circle also has a different 3D effect.

And the last sign I have used 3D effect again but it is different from the circles.
