today i started on my scrapblog.

sabine is sitting right next to me, umm and her awsomeness is lyk reflection on me, like a light ray...absorbing...absorbing! :/

yaya i finally caught up. kinda. i now need to get started on the assignment. we changes it, now instead of using both zoho and scrapblog we are just using scrapblog. it is simpler to use? and makes it easy to have everything on one multimedia tool. also we arianne, mary anne and i are going to use my account for scrapblog but make different scrapblogs so we can all work on it at the same time! : so ye, thats all worked out!

CPU?

1. What is the function of the CPU? the function of a CPU is that is is the brain of a computer, it does all the calculations and stuff?
2. What was the name of the first CPU? the name of the first CPU is intel 4004
3. Referring to the graph on page 2 of the article, describe how the speed of CPU’s has changed. the change was that it went from 2 to 3.6MHz
4. What does MIPS measure? it measures the computer, a computer is cabable of doing 1 million instructions per second! woah thats quiet a lot! haha.

Zoho

Test questions:
Versatility: Zoho allows mail, spreadsheets, still images, text, videos, notebook and many more.

Ease of use: The user interface is quite friendly as it allows you to colaborate and also it is easy to use in the way that, zoho allows, and gaves many options on what you would like to do. Zoho has a wide selcection of jobs in which you can opperate from the site.

Collaboration: yes, zoho allows you to collaborate with other people using the same user name, it doesnt allow you to continue while someone else is working on a task but you can finish the work started, while someone else is working on it.

SCRAPBLOG

Versatality: scrapblog allows you to upload videos, audio, still images and text.

Ease of use: it is is simple to navigate around, its got some pretty cool features on it, like the themes and stickers and that stuff! ;) also it has other interesting stuff on it! pretty fun to use. it allows you to make it as creative as you want!

Collaboration: scrapblog allows you to collaborate, only if two people are working on the same slide thingo and one saves their work after the other person then only the most resent work will be published, it would make it out that only one person actually did their work but really the work was just done over and not published. so that maybe a problem, but we shall work through it!

Prezi:

prezi is a complicated but cool site. haha. its kinda hard to navigate around and stuff like that. i havent really looked that much into it, it seems pretty hard so we are not using this as our multimedia tool!

we have discussed and decided that the two multimedia tools we are going to use for this task is zoho and scrap blog. we are going to use two, zoho for the first two coloured topics, blue and pink and scrapblog for the topic in yellow and green. answering the questions given and making the project thingo look good and be affective in displaying this information! :)
in my next post i will do the test questions for each of our three multimedia tools.

assessment taskk~~!!!!!!!

soooooo....... we got our assessment thingy last friday, and we are looking for multimedia tools for our presentation thingy. =]

as a group, arianne, mary anne and i havent actually decided on which media site we want to use, first we are all going to get three of our own and then from thoes 9 decide on our favourite three. this gives a varity of multimedia that we can all agree on. :)

we need 3 different online tools, and i have chosen scrapblog and prezi so far still deciding on a third.

so far we have changed a few of our suggestions due to some limitations.
we had first looked at using:
myplick
the disadvantages of myplick is that is doesnt allow videos are able to be uploaded and displayed. on myplick you cannot collaborate with your partner. it also doesnt allow powerpoint presentations to be displayed.

watchitoo has a mojor disadvantage as it can only upload videos and still images. this would complecate the way we use this multimedia tool, the site doesnt have written text, therefore it would be of not much use in this assignment.
